Hi

I know I've been tested for that bug many other things so I know it's not that. I'm going to give the tabs a go n see what's happening then.

Oh no liquid diet! Couldn't handle that.

You are brave . X

Hindsight is a wonderful thing! However it seems that the type of bacteria involved in overgrowth are not ones you want running free through your intestines. And much tho' I detest taking antibiotics sometimes you just have to.

I hope your TB test is negative tho' otherwise your stomach will be in for a rough ride. I had to take two antibiotics for several months before starting biologics and they were awful. However, now the biologics are working (fingers crossed) it's was all worth it.

Glad they were worth taking, I'm going go give it a go. Tolerate them as long as I can.

Here goes ! N thanks i hope TB test is ok too.

Fingers crossed x

Do yourself a favour and take probiotics too or at least have a live yogurt at the same time. I’ve just had 6 weeks of antibiotics and I’m taking probiotics now was stupid not to take them at the same time. My gut is only just starting to recover and I feel reasonably well. Antibiotics were because I had started new drug therapy and I had to take antibiotics too as a prophylactic because my immune system is shot. Unfortunately had a hiccup with new treatment but there’s hope I might be able to restart again soon.
