Hi All,
I hope you are as well as can be.
I had my open lung biopsy on 25 June and to be honest it was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting and I was home after 6 days in hospital.
Unfortunately the results are still trickling in and appear to be inconclusive as my specialist says " you are a mystery" He thinks I have gramulatosis but as of late September he was still waiting for more results and I have not heard anything.
I have also been retired from work on ill health grounds and although I am now able to have a limited social life I am still not as well as I hoped I would be and spend several days bed ridden.
I am waiting to start rituximab my fifth anti TNF so hopefully this will help.
In the meantime I am having major problems with my eyes re rheumatoid eye disease and I have constant nerve pain in my right knee (18 months after replacement ) after the nerve has started to regenerate. All in all feeling a bit rubbish but hope that time will heal/help and trying to remain positive. If anyone has any advice re nerve pain I would really appreciate it , got gabapentin and amatriptyline and lidocain patches.
Have a good weekend all xx
