Hopefully your bag of new meds will sort out your problems Sylvi & all will be well in time for the Christmas celebrations.
I have a Santa similar to the second one from the bottom of your lovely pic. Mine is what was my mum's & quite old now but he still has pride of place on my mantlepiece. She had a thing about traditional Santas, they all had to have long coats not short jackets!
The santa in the chimney was my mums though it doesn't work now he still looks lovely and it means my mum and dad are still with me. Thank you all for your lovely thoughts. Hugs for you all.xxx
Hi Sylvi, I think there should be time for your food poisoning to get right ... had that Norovirus the year before last at Christmas and just two days' of "D" were horrible enough. I seldom get these things but an elderly lady at my Mum's residential was all over me bless her .. sweet lady, but holding my hands. Had to give my ticket for a musical to my neighbour who got a chauffeur in and out to the show (my hubby!) and a box of chocolates too, whilst I stayed home with mint tea! Just recovered on 24th December in time for Christmas lunch. So let's hope you are on the up and things are going to all come right together That all the meds kick in and no horrid neck pain either. Just been doing a bit of book/CD Christmas shopping online before the supposed Black Friday business .. if you believe all of that. Needed doing and now my husband almost taken care of! Just my Mum to sort out but M&S and Thorntons will certainly help! Hugs, NK xx
Thank you for your lovely words. I think i have my hubby sorted which is most important,i have my three nearly sorted it is just my cousins(they are nearly done) and a couple of friends, then it is the cards which i haven't felt well enough to do,but i am home alone tomorrow so i might make a start on them. Hubby and daughter are at the nia,it is a two day event and all being well i will be there on Sunday. There is a German market up there as well so depending on how i am we will have a look at it. I am feeling a bit brighter this morning, but i am still taking it easy,i feel my chest is starting to break up,fingers crossed.
Thank you all very much for you kind words i really appreciate it.xxxx
You are always welcome, Sylvi. Yes hopefully it is going to be better now for you. It is awful when several health problems all come at once You have done very well Sylvi considering feeling so off colour. I am pacing myself writing half a dozen cards each day then will post them on Monday/Tuesday. You have to do it bit by bit or it is just too overwhelming/exhausting. Hope you can get to your event on Sunday. (Is it music? ) We have a German Christmas market ongoing in Leeds (a month each Christmas in the city centre) and they are always so lovely. Hope to be there on Saturday. Went to Nottingham to a lovely one also a couple of years back. xxx
Oh how wonderful, Sylvi ... hope you can get a piccie of your granddaughter but if not at least see her doing that. Have fun at the German market ... I am hoping for some delicious edibles as stocking fillers for friends (but some for me too!!) xxx
Doh! So sorry Sylvi .. I was speaking to my friend on the phone a little earlier, who was telling me about her granddaughter at school .. so think that was in my mind as she is n the nativity play. Silly me. xx
I hope you have had a good weekend and feeling some improvement. Went to see Slash last night at Leeds Arena so tired tonight. City is now getting very busy with late night Christmas shoppers so had to park a bit further out and walk up a hill .. but my legs/ankles held up! Disabled/accessible seating in the arena was very good. Our first time there. xx
