Well I want to say let's hope he finds something but that sounds awful! I just hope it proves necessary I think is what I mean, sounds better, then maybe you'll get some relief.

I realise what you have written but best outcomes of any operation is when the patient understands what is going to happen and also the outcomes and will it work or is it a waste of time. Do ask questions. No one minds that.
