Hiya Laceygreen. IainM posted earlier this week asking the same healthunlocked.com/nras/pos... & reported back to us the day after healthunlocked.com/nras/pos...
Hope both help you & good luck when you have yours.
Hi ! Unfortunately I had horrid experience. Make sure u ask them to get medical advice from ur rhumy. Also if they ask u to lift ur arms up touch floor get up from chair
Don't lie but do it as u would on a bad day
They haven't seemed to realise it varies day to day and even when u can do things it hurts and leaves you exhausted. Just try and stress these things as much as poss! Gd luck xx
Hi laceygreen, well I am haveing a face to face interview this morning at 10am and they are coming to my home! In addition to this I had 4hours if telephone interview. Went over every detail.....I was quite shocked. Thing is they phoned me without warning asking me loads of questions snd they have a script in front of them and I just had to reply from out of my memory. I have nothing to hide and all my evidence is in my medical history BUT they got me all confused by crossreferencing what I said. I found this quite distressing. Well not sure what is going to happen today but eill report back later.......
Hi Lacygreen, as nomoreheals said I posed the same question to the group and reported back after my interview, it seams that interviews vary from region to region, I never had the nightmare that I thought it was going to be and never had a member of the Gestapo interviewing me. The Interview for me on Tuesday was a carbon copy almost of the questions asked in the application in the same order and then a very short physical at the end, asking me to touch my fingers with my thumb, raise my arms to the side as far as I could go, stand on my own etc, and as someone has already said do it as if you where on your worst day. My Interviewer had a fare knowledge od the disease and said at the beginning she understood that it fluctuated and there were good and bad days, but she was mainly interested in my bad days. Hope this helps and you have a decent interview. Forgot to add, my interview lasted an hour and 20 minutes, which by all accounts is a bit longer than the normal hour.
Best of luck
Hi well I have just had my pip interview in my own home. Phew I agree with everything Ianm said and had more or less the same interview which lasted as long. I do not know how I was but tried to answer with honesty BUT I was quite upset as going through everything in such fine detail and going through all the meds etc made me feel useless and no point in beng around as im only going to get worse. Not a pleasent feeling. I think she xame to my house because I care for my husband who had a stroke and I look after his needs now I find myself in nearly the same position. Well no doubt they will wrire a report about me......I will let you all know the outcome. Also just to add neither my husband or I have ever claimed anything except from when he had the stroke. We are both 60 and worked for, me 45 years and him 42years, and never even been on the sick or anything......niw we are in the worsening health position and having to jump thro hoops for such a small amount plus if the government had not moved the goal post.....I would be collecting my pension and not have to claim.......but now I cannot collect pension untill 66yrs 11mths and 4 days!!!!!! Are you all laughing......we're not.
