I have had RA since 2002 but I am stil surprised by the way it works...you can go to bed feeling fine, and then in the morning, you get out of bed (with difficulty some mornings ) and you find you can hardly walk, you have swollen painful feel and your shoes not longer fit! You have to drag yourself to work....Hey ho, onwards and upwards.
ps I have really enjoyed reading your blogs.

Hi Julie, that's the way it goes unfortunately something we have to learn to adapt to. Good days bad days as they say, I've had mine almost 17yrs now and its still like that I'm afraid.
We have to learn not to over do the good days and rest on the bad ones it's difficult at times I know, but reading other peoples blogs on here lets you know you are not alone with your RA.
We are having a tea party in the park this afternoon (virtually) you have to be mad to join us, we have Ali and Ann emma from NRAS joined in for a few minutes and moved us to the new community blog.
We are a happy little bunch, and have a good support programme going.
You are more than welcome to come on have a moan and b***tch about RA as we will understand
Thanks Tricia for the invitation, sorry I missed it x
Dragged myself to the office today, tired, cranky and puffy. But if it's Friday it must be drug day, so i'm crossing fingers I perk up by tomorrow when my methotrexate and enbrel cocktail kicks in.
Totally relate to what you wrote. I've tried to find a pattern in mine but can't seem to find one. Now I just roll with the RA punches and stop trying to be super woman
I really know whay you mean!!! have had a shocking flare last few days out of the blue & had been doing so well! missed the party and everything Going to write a blog about what happened. - strange disease is so true, only us lot really understand!
