Day three and off to buy a new camera.....................

Morning everyone,well day three and we have to go and buy a new camera this morning. We went and did some shopping in tescos yesterday and i needed the loo. So i put my handbag on the sink unaware that it had an automatic tap and my handbag got drenched. I had taken a cloth bag in pink with me. The camera is ruined hence we have to buy a new one. It has peed me off no end to think i could be so stupid,i just didn't think.

Yesterdat when we got back from the shopping we sat by the pool most of the day until it was time to go and get a meal. The receptionist reccomended this place at broughton and she was not wrong. The service was eccellent. The chef saw i was struggling to hold my playe he did no more than fetch a lovely lady to help me and she took my plate and filled it up and made sure i was settled at my table. Lovely lady her hubby is a marine stationed down here and she comes frome preston. I couldn't thank her enough as it helped bob as well as he is the one that usually does all that.So he could enjoy himself as well. We got back and then went and had a drink in the clubhouse, but i was so exhausted by overdoing it today we went home and i did the only thing i know and that was go to bed and rest. Forget the camera , I would have gone for a new bag and a new pair of shoes to go with it lol x

Allanah there wasn't any shops that sold bags that took my fancy nor shoes. CAmera is a fuji sl300 and it looks good. I am a happy bunny ladies. If i get any bags or shoes i'll be sure to let you all know.xxx

before chucking your old camera you could try removing as many parts as will come apart and putting it into a panfull of dried rice for a week - you might be able to save it. (its still good to get a newer better one though :))

my mate was traveling around usa on a harley he went to do some washing and left the video camera he had taken video of his experdition on the washing machine he didnt know till he got to chicargo.

now that is bad luck in it at least you still had your sd card for your pic you had taken

good one sylvi is it sunny down their its raining here and damp love not real good weather we have been used to whent for me mris yesterday got their and streight in then did a bit of painting see what comes out of that rumi appointment end of next month july 31st 10.30 a bit like after the hrse has bolted eh.
