Had a better day today thank goodness........

Good afternoon everyone. Well that was a better day all round for me at long last. Went shopping with hubby this morning and didn't feel too bad by the time we got home. Our daughter was there and had already cleaned the bathroom for me. I had brought some plants to put in baskets ready for winter and i did them and repotted what i had taken out. I intended to cut the lawn,but i got my marching orders from my daughter telling to forget it. So i did as i was told for once. I think i have scared them all with this pneumonia that i am recovering from. It has been a lovely day here today and hubby and our Grace tidied up and did some cutting back which has been a job well done by them.

I am now in my pjs enjoying the evening. After i have had my tea i think i will go and lay on my bed as i don't want to push my luck now do i.xxxx

As soon as you feel better you were in those shops,and if your daughter hadn't been there you would have been messing about in the garden too.

Youre still recovering from your pneumonia,youre doing very well so dont spoil it now,and get a setback or you will still be like this at Christmas.

I can see nothing else for it they will need to strap you into the bed,but I suspect you know how to get out of knots too.

Pack it in and REST !

Ah yes I thought it was.My mum used to do a lot of craft work and used these.They always seemed dry and shrivelled up and I didn't like the feel of them in my hands. I hope you're going to behave yourself today Sylvi - I have Crimewatch on speed dial -- lol

I’m so glad your daughter made you see sense. It sounds like you had the sort of day you should have been having when recovering from pneumonia! We’re off to a silver wedding party on the Wirral today starting with a long walk to the car - we live on the Birmingham Marathon route so are unable to get off the drive until 6 pm. After the walk and the party I don’t expect I’ll be doing much tomorrow!

I won’t! It’s now 1-30 am and I can’t sleep for the pain - I definitely won’t be doing anything today/tomorrow.but we did have a lovely time so it was worth it!

Jan i have just had a reminder that i am not as good as i thought i was. Went to get washed and dressed and sort out something to wear and by the time i had done that i had to lay on my bed as i was out of breath and hot and sweaty. So i am sitting again now resting.xxx
