3 years today!

Today marks three years of being smoke free! Every now and then I think about how I miss smoking, especially when I am out walking and I smell cigarette smoke in the air. But as time goes bye this is less frequent. I can goes for weeks now without thinking about smoking. I think the first year is the hardest and what helped me to get where I am today was to stay away from people that smoke or as my friends not to smoke around me. I had a lot of help and encouragement from certain people in the group. So stay strong and listen to the advice of the long time members. Good luck to all!

Hang in there you'll make it, big help for me was every time smoking snuck in my thoughts I would get busy doing something that occupied my brain, hands & mouth, singing at times & reading out loud to what ever was around me. Yep they knew I had lost all my marbles & that proved it. lolol Mary

Thank you for all your help and support. Hope all is well with you and your family. It looks like our world may be finally getting back to some kind of normal. I would thank Heru also but he hasn't dropped in for a while. I hope all is well with him also. Take care.☺️
