quit cold turkey had major withdrawals but was adamant to stop without aid and still not last week had the worst cough and all bunged up thought it was covid but was not just got over it now and feels like i can breath in deeper now so guy if you dont have coughing or wheezing you may get them a lot later

I quit the same day as you! Still haven't had a cough, I use to cough when I smoked though. Well done on your 11 weeks 👏

Same to CONGRATS TO YOU TOO i use to cough when smoking too...i read somewhere online it can take as long as 24 months before any coughing starts . i am hoping this is the coughing stage now as it did givee a headache while coughing.....by the read a thread about staying confined and doing limited things so not to teigger smoking so far i am doing everything i did as a smoker without the smoking lol like going outside with the smokers and not smoking after eating stay and keep wife company while she smokes the only thing i havent done and i am nervous about is doing long journeys on the motorway like i use to.

You sound like you are on the right path. I too have to hang around smokers. My son and partner smoke so i can't get away from it. I really doesn't bother me anymore. Gone through that trigger already. You sound fairly comfortable in your quit 😊👍

i think im quite comfortable now i have restarted to do light exercise like brisk walking and light jogging apart from yesterday i did a 2 mile non stop jog/run/walk aand i was so tired i fell asleep for about 13 hours lol and have plans to restart my bodybuilding regime again next month
