I'm quitting tomorrow. No more fags. But... I've done it before, not once..but 6 times.. and those 6 times I've started again once the sun shines bright.. The warm weather triggers the worse cravings of all. This time, I'm scared. I just want to quit and stay smoke free
I've done it before with patches and a vape, I think this is the way forward again. Does anyone else struggle like I do? Feel so alone in all this

Vaping is the way to go it's not harmful but takes around five weeks for your brain to get used to the new habit of holding a vape rather than a cancer stick. Wean yourself off cigarettes slowly not all at once, less each day and use your vape instead until you are free of the coffin nails. Think positive and focused and remember if you smoke there is a good chance it will kill you whereas vaping won't.
I'm sorry who told you Vaping is not harmful? Our news was full of stories about vaping just before this pandemic hit. The amount of people who were being hospitalized because of vaping, it was doing things to their lungs that were not repairable. Please quit before you are harmed by it!
I've been vaping for ten years and owned a vape shop for five. I read as many reports as I can so I can give good advice to customers. The stories you refer to were from America. All the people who have been taken ill (referred to in the newspapers) had underlying health issues mostly due to the use of hard drugs. They had tried to vape THC oil (THC is the drug that gets people stoned when they smoke cannabis, not to be confused with CBD oil). Because they heated it and inhaled it through a vape device the oil (which did not turn to vaper like proper vape juice) coated their lungs much like oil on any surface. This meant their lungs couldn't do their job. One doctor referred to one young patient who had been inhaling THC oil through a vape as having lungs that looked like that were coated in bacon fat. This is not what happens with proper vape juice. The problem with the THC was only in America with no other reports world wide.
At the moment some UK health authorities are issuing vape devices to people with a serious addiction to smoking. Midwives tell expected mother's to stop smoking but if they have to do something then to vape. The NHS "promotes" vaping as a way of stopping smoking. The Royal College if Surgeons and Health England both say it is 95% safer than smoking.
Every so often the tabloids print rubbish stories about vaping but then the next week do the exact opposite. The moral is don't believe what you read in the papers.
If I can help further let me know. One last thing if you do decide to buy a vape get one from a reputable local vape shop, avoid the internet sellers, petrol stations, supermarkets and news agents.
Thank you Paul I did not know that that about vaping. What I know is what is said on the news & yeah I live in America. I don't believe the "gossip rags" they only want to sensationalize everything & that's pretty much what TV reporters do to. As for me Vaping nah I smoked for 29 yrs & quit just over 21 yrs now & I can my Drs face & my hubbys ... not a pretty thought! I am happy you set things straight for me about vaping thank you again. kycmary
