I have been smoke free 6 months and expected to feel a lot better. II am grateful I don’t have a cough and my sense of smell is much better. Don’t get me wrong I never want to smoke again.
Feeling Better: I have been smoke free... - No Smoking Day
Feeling Better
Hi Roxie when we quit smoking our bodies take time to heal and for us to feel better. We are all different and some people take more time than others. Quitting smoking is one of the hardest things to do so hang in there. I quit 15 months ago and I'm not sure when I started to feel better but I know that one day you wake up and realize you feel great. Enjoy the freedom of not being a smoker and things will get better.
I felt the same way. I was really surprised that I actually felt almost worse before I felt better. Buy then, it would be easier to quit if you could feel great immediately, right? You have made it 6 weeks. Thats awesome. I also dont know when I woke up feeling better but at 19 months there is not a day that goes by when I am not grateful I quit. The most beautiful day is the one where you cant even remember why you used to smoke and you cant begin to imagine doing it again.
