For those who try to quit smoking I have a question.
Did anyone tried those patches, mouth sprays etc to help cravings? I'm thinking to go and buy tomorrow so I need to ask if they are effective.
Thanks.

Hi Roseyellow,
I haven’t used patches or anything NRT related, however my dad stopped on patches which lessened the intensity of the withdrawals, the dose of nicotine is slowly lowered over time so your body can adapt to the loss of nicotine.
NRT is very effective for people wanting to quit that are maybe not able to manage without the nicotine.
Still a hard fight with or without the NRT but totally worth it.
You will find what works for you, good luck with your journey and I wish you all the best 😊
Personally I find patches really take the edge off the cravings / mood swings - 15 mgs works for me and having smoked for nearly forty years I am also vaping to stop smoking. Try a few different things on the market until you find what works for you.
Hi Rosey
Yes it really helps as an aid to stop...BUT...If you are not 100% ready all the aids in the world will not help...
YOU... must stop and the patches ..sprays...Champix..will really help you to stop...do not rely on them to make you stop..
To quit is definitely a mind over matter thing and for me 4 years and 8 months ago certainly the most difficult thing I have done in my life...But so glad I did and never looked back...
The freedom is amazing after being trapped for 38 years ..!
Go for it..!
Hi Roseyellow. I am using the patch and it is working for me. Almost at 7 weeks smoke free!
