Anxiety after quitting

Been smoke free since July 16, 2019. However, I'm experiencing anxiety like I've never had. Can barely sleep, and hard to function during the day. I'm not craving smoking, and any time I smell smoke it makes me want to vomit. Which is good. However, I can't get past this anxiety, and it's escalated over the past 30-45 days. Anyone else experience this?

Did you quit cold turkey? When I came off of the champix I had a rough couple of weeks. I drank a lot of water and went for long walks, sometimes three or four a day, and kept busy. But it was also around the three month mark. After reading up on related posts and other posters struggles it seems that a lot of people struggle around three months. I am now taking melatonin to help me sleep. Maybe its time to talk to your doctor about your anxiety. Good luck and stay strong.

Hi audiji. Stay strong ! It will pass lots of us felt that way and is not easy . But just continue the joy of not missing smoking anymore . One of the tricks is to learn what the first symptoms are .then as soon as you are feeling nervious distract your mind . Walking was one good for me or be creative but make sure is something you really love to do . Stay strong .you got this
