Welcome Elizabeth2965 - congratulations on 1 week smoke free!
That feeling of giving up or not having willpower is perfectly normal as your brain has begun the gradual process of rewiring, repairing and recovering. Be ready to attack at all times. Mr Nico can be persistent and pop up out of the blue Drink loads and loads of water, keep your sugar levels up with lots of whole fruits. Avoid caffeine and alcohol until stronger in your journey. Try to get out for a bit of a walk every day to clear the head.
I too stopped cold turkey and will be hitting 4 years in September. It was a bumpy road at times but so worth it now to experiencing a new lease of life smoke free! I found I have become more spiritual (not religiously) but more appreciation of nature, food, family, friends etc... since I stopped. You have so much to forward to!!
Elizabeth2965 Don't worry about your will power not lasting just keep doing what you have been doing. It works good so far hey!!!! If you have doubts about will power just use won't power. I wont have a smoke!!!! Stay strong
