I honestly can’t believe I have come this far (and how quick it has flown by!!) I was a person who knew that smoking was bad for me but I enjoyed it (or so I thought) and I had creeped up to close to 25 a day..I will never forget the feeling of panic if I was going to bed and didn’t have a fresh pack ready for the morning 🤨

Then one Monday afternoon I mentioned to my sister that I was thinking of giving them up and I was saying it was going to be a new me etc etc.

when the words “I’m quitting” came out of my mouth, I knew that is what I had to do ( also didn’t want anyone to think I couldn’t quit..) and at 4pm on 30th January I quit for good 😁 and haven’t smoked since!!

Not going to lie.. it was hard at the start but after 21 days I was doing really well!😁

if your using NRT (I used the patches and lollipops) KEEP GOING

If you are going cold turkey.. I admire your will power and KEEP GOING

If your using another method.. KEEP GOING

The urge to smoke will pass and the life you will get back is worth it, don’t let the nicotine win 👍🏻

Just back from a 4 day trip to London (paid with money I saved!)

That is brilliant 😊

I know that I initially saved the money that I used to spend for on treats

I honestly don't know how anyone can afford to smoke considering how much the price has increased in recent years 😮

I used to roll my own and can still remember how after a night out drinking how much my fingers were stained but I just used to scrub of the stains with no conscious thought of what my lungs must look like with the nicotine I had inhaled

But then again I also couldn't smell how badly I stunk all the time 😔
