Hey guys.

Onto day 17 now. I have went relatively cold turkey except wee 1mg nicotine mints for when it gets too much.

Feeling very depressed and down. This no energy is what I am finding most difficult. Then I’ll feel great for a while and then the fatigue hits me again! I feel very on edge. But day 17 is a great achievement and I’ll keep riding the wave.

I’m hoping there is a light at the end of the tunnel soon though!

Hey Matt28 & Liebedich - ye are now approaching the 'Icky Threes' of 3 weeks - see below pinned post worth a read if not already done so:

healthunlocked.com/nosmokin...

Drink plenty of water, avoid caffeine and alcohol and sugary foods for a wee while as you get over this, Bit of a walk daily to clear the head will help. Also, herbal and vitamin supplements will help alot too from your local chemist or health food shop, they will be able to recommend the best ones to take following stopping.

Ye are doing great :)

Keep it up. Your almost over the hump. After 3 weeks it gets a little easier but I'm on edge a lot too. We feel depressed cuz we lost our good friend the cigarette. I'm on 6 weeks .I need advice sometimes because it's not easy and it apparently takes a long time to overcome. But we can do it!

Take it that is a typo with 'caved' and should be 'craved a bit' - excellent for getting through a holiday without smoking - well done Matt28 !
