I have now been 15 months no smoking, after smoking for 40yrs. What a difference!

I did True Quit. 10 x short 'videos', 1 x 45min meeting incl laser on pressure points. Had a smoke just before I went in & never had another. No cravings etc - just no desire. My hubby still smokes, & I used to smoke 20 a day.

Huh I have not heard of that plan. I am using the patches. Wish I could of gone cold turkey but I just get so short tempered. I’m hoping with patches I will not get that way. I am at 3.5 weeks and doing good

I did patches, champix, cold turkey & this is the only way that has worked for me. Good luck - it's worth it!

Welcome to our community nzgrub - congratulations on 15 months smoke free, that is great, well done!

I am coming up to my 3 year milestone on 17 September, done it cold turkey, what a difference indeed and all for the better, been the hardest and best achievement of my life so far :)

Look forward to reading your words of wisdom and advice when you can.....

Well done , I’m happily approaching 13th months .. Not that I’m counting .. time does fly anyhow , then you stop to have a count up ..It’s a great feeling and a great achievement...
