Day 24 sensory overload

This is a weird one! I now feel like superwoman with sensory powers! As I thought was going to happen my smell and taste for food is superb, everything tastes and smells good!

The one thing I didn’t anticipate is my hearing! My hearing has heightened ten fold! Noise is loud! The birds singing, car traffic, machinery, trains! Everything is BOOM loud crazy! Has this happened to anyone else?

Still irritable and cranky! Maybe that’s just me! 😂😂😂

Ah Hidden - the new found life, the list is endless from tasting and smelling everything again, I fondly remember this being the first thing I noticed too, curries taste so much better now, nature looks and sounds so much better now - the hearing improvement is likely due to your cilia (hairs) regrowing in your throat and lungs and therefore improving your hearing. The irritability will settle down soon, I promise. Continue to drink plenty of water and reduce the sugary foods. You are doing great!

Goes to show how much damage cigs do. The only thing I wish had not improved was the return of my taste buds. I sure piled on the weight the first 6 months of quitting. Food never taste so good.

😂😂😂 laughed out loud with that one! The same, I can’t stop eating and I was just thinking how delicious everything tastes!!!
