It's fairly common EMC. If you search on sleep the pinned posts will have some suggestions. I had the opposite in that I slept seemingly nonstop my first two weeks.

EMC....Ouch...The wrath of the nicodemon has fallen upon you....as he did on all the quitters..and as in all cases some get it full blast and some get away with a slap on the wrist..Once again..Water, Vitamins, and exercise...Sorry, I know it is impossible to exercise when feeling like you ...deprived from sleep for more than 48 hours..tired, Headache, sore throat etc...

But don't just take the hiding...stand up and fight back...Please I understand it is not easy but you must push through..Just walk around the block if possible..

It is tough the first 72 hours...and then eases of a bit...all the nicotine and Carbon monoxide will be out of your system and the healing begins...

Strongs !!

Hey EMC425 - good to read an update from you - what you are feeling and experiencing is perfectly normal especially stopping cold turkey (below is a link to common withdrawals from the pinned posts link I previously attached).

healthunlocked.com/nosmokin.....

By the end of Day 3 as Hercu advised, the nicotine will be out of your system, then the mental battle begins as your mind and body start to gradually rewire, repair and recover. Keep busy, lots of water, bit of exercise daily to clear the head and above all embrace this and take it one day at a time, sometimes hour by hour if needs be, stay close to us especially if having a bad day....
