So so proud. 12 hours until 1 month non smoking. My quit buddy started back but I have held on strong!
It's hard and still is but I am doing it. To those in doubt, please give yourselves credit. As long as you keep trying, that day will come where it is permanent. I have gained. 5 lbs., go to the gym (I so wanna drive right by sometimes) at least 4 times a week, each a minimum of 30 minutes or more. Feeling better than I have ever felt.
I have had crohns disease since age 9 and wishing I had done this ages ago but hey, I'm doing it NOW!
Good luck and loving my new lifestyle!

hi casinolife
nearly a month, don't forget to treat yourself.
you deserve it.
worry about weight later, not that 5lbs is a lot,
I'm a thin, cant put any weight on,think its due to thyroid,I'm never still, cant sit ,always walking or doing something, can be as bad,too much or not enough, cant win
take care 😊
keep kicking 😁
Congratulations 🎊 You're so strong to keep going when your buddy quit. It's great you're getting out there & doing it & feeling amazing.
Casinolife...I am married to a Chrons patient for almost 40 years and know exactly what it is...I picked my wife up from the floor dozens of times and chased to hospital...Totally dehidrated...Thinking, is this the time she will not return....But must say and very thankful that for the past 9 years since she stopped smoking there was zero flare ups or attacks...!
You deserve to be proud, not because your buddy didn't make it but because you have been so strong...!! Well done !!!
You know exactly what we go thru with the smoking and crohns. So glad to hear your wife hasn't had any flareups (a crohns term)
since she quit. Docs have always said smoking wasn't good but I always considered it calming after an attack. Shows you how strong that Nico drug is!!!
I appreciate the positive comment.
Did your wife gain a lil weight to?
Casinolife you are doing exellent ..It’s a great pleasure to read your post .You are a real example that we can all recover from nicotine addiction ..
I also believe that enthusiasm has a lot to do with your success !! When I quit I desided to focus on the benefits and that’s what gave me so much enthusiasm ..You are a winner ..congrats !
was talking to one of my friends today, she was sending her sin to the store, guess?
she was out of cigs. I took a minute, didn't say a word BUT remembered when I use to get up and run to the store for the same reason. I don't miss that!
