Huge welcome to our community neenee48 and congratulations on Day 5, that is great!

I stopped 2 years ago cold turkey and never looked back - it was a roller coaster of a journey but the ups by far outweigh the downs. That feeling of loss is perfectly normal and almost like grief but only for a short time - they say it takes 21 days to break a habit so will probably be over the worst of that withdrawal in a month or so. Keep busy, lots of water and bit of exercise daily just to clear the head.

Have a look at the pinned posts too across this page and keep in touch with us, we look forward to reading your progress and are here to help if needed :)

neenee...Welcome and well done so far...Yes, Champix works in mysterious ways...!!

Yes that "blah" stage also goes away...as from week three you might start to feel more energetic and open minded..!! Strongs !!

Well done you, you are doing really well so keep going.

It was a habit that took up a lot of your time, going for smoke breaks, rolling them etc so now you have broken that habit you've got a gap, just fill it doing something else and it'll pass before you know it.

Good luck :0)

Good to read an update from you neenee48 and that things are going well. I quit cold turkey but I done up a pinned post of champix side effects as below, these blisters could be a side effect - if get worse or not improve would maybe head to your doctor or chemist to see if they can give you anything for it..keep in touch!
