Thorpey.... Other than a 4lb mullet to put you down there really is nothing else.... Sleeplessness or Insomnia was one of the worst side affects I had to cope with....I surfed the internet during my seepless sessions and depleted my 30 GB cap in two weeks.
I gathered so much information and knowledge about the smoking cessation and used it in my attack against my addiction....
Welcome to our community thorpey11 and congratulations on 6 days smoke free - almost at your first major milestone of 1 week
With regards your lack of sleep, unfortunately insomnia is a major withdrawal in the first month of quitting, I too quit cold turkey 17 months ago and would fall asleep straight away when I went to bed at 11:00 but woke up at 2:00 wide awake and could not get back to sleep - for me, it continued on and off for about 3 months BUT good news, now I can sleep for Ireland (irish phrase), could easily go 12 hours if I got the chance
The body is remarkable at repairing and recovering, but there is alot of rewiring of the brain to be done after all the damage from the thousands of poisonous chemicals from smoking. This withdrawal will be worth it in the long run, wishing you strength, you can do this.
We look forward to reading your progress
Hi thanks for your replies!! Doing pretty good other than the sleep but just feel constantly bored or fidgety lol
