Done fantastic today, been to a friend's who smokes indoors and I coped well. I felt I needed something to hold so kept demanding a cuppa but I didn't cave in. Didn't really get any pangs but the test would be while drinking. I won't be doing that for a while hopefully.
Day 6 in the No smoking house: Done fantastic... - No Smoking Day
Day 6 in the No smoking house
Keep it going
Well done, glad you have had a good day and there will be plenty more to come so lots to look forward to in your smoke free future. Well done again!
That's brilliant
Being around someone who's smoking and not gettign a crave is really good, especially so early on - keep it going!! x
Thanks, my family still smoke but at the front door. I really think listening to my Alan Carr audio book helped. I am usually a 20+ a day gal and smoke as I am going out, before I get out of a shop I am getting 1 ready, will normally have about 3 when visitting a friend for an hour and 1 while I make tea, 1 as it is getting served and another when I've eaten. No way have I felt this good in so few days.

That sounds a lot like how I used to be.:rolleyes:
First thing I did when I got up was head out the back door for a fag and with my friends I'd smoke myself stupid - but I'm loving being free of all that.
And flipping heck, if I can quit *you* can 'cos I've got the willpower of a flea!!
Plus we would lie about how many we smoked.I always said 10-15 reality was 20+..
Guilty.
Should change my signature TBH :o:eek::rolleyes:
... And done
aww sweet
Any more secrets you wish to reveal Gemma?
OK I have to confess
I nicked a packet of crisps when I was in school too
EDIT: Oh bugger I shouldn't have said that to a copper
Thanks but I think alcohol goes with a cig so well. It is what started me smoking again after quitting for 3 years. I lost weight, felt confident so socialise again and started just smoking while drinking then drinking buddies seen mid week so on so on then felt I best buy some since I have bummed so many off them. We all know our strengths and weaknesses. Drinking brings out my piggy tail so it will certainly make me a chimney
***takes Gemma gently but firmly by the arm****** " A word in your ear'ole,if you don't mind,Miss..'
I was 8 you can't arrest me for that!!
Anyway, I ate the evidence

Me too, have had a couple of glasses of wine and am craving now.
Unfortunately, we're all addicts so there's no such thing as "just a few when you drink" - am getting throught it with an e-cig, will get that out when I can't stand the crave any longer, I haven't yet though!!
I tried e-cig last year. Travelled to warehouse to pick up stronger strength carts and lasted 2 weeks. It helped me cut down. Instead of the 20+ I was having about 5 but when battery is dead it is so easy to have a real 1. I know they do help some people but this time I needed to not swap the addiction

TBH I think you're right to go with nothing at all, am using it because i have no willpower. That said, I've been using it for 2 weeks and would rather saw my arm off than smoke another cigarette!!
I hate smoking, and love not being a smoker any more!!
