In days gone by, i would of, without doubt, been at the corner shop, buying smokes, but as I sit here to day, that same £10.00 is indeed stuck in my purse, and seeing as I need nothing ( well that's what I think)? It will still be there, when I get paid again.

I have saved 346 tenners since I quit and they have got me a luxurious 5 night break to Vienna, 9 large Yankee candles, 9 pairs of pjs! 
I too could take out a tenner and have it in my purse for up to a month before I would spend it! Never seen that before I quit!
The money side has been a great bonus - bought myself some new golf clubs last weekend😊
A week in Dubai for a friend's wedding. Probably would have gone anyway, but quitting eliminated the need to charge it.
In the 3 decades I smoked prices with tax increased 28 fold; and we still paid. Shows the strength of the addiction.
I must confess I didn't save many of my £10's ... I just found other things to buy lol ... little treats for me and the kids, outings, meals .. that sorta stuff. I had a couple of rewards just for me too. For my 6th month I bought a white gold dress ring and for my 1 year I bought a Chromebook. Totally extravagant and not things I would normally buy but that's exactly what I was looking for in a reward. I was planning on getting something for my 18 months but one, I can't actually think of anything and two, I don't feel I need the reward so much now.
Because cigs are cheaper here in Spain less than £4 for 20 I have saved less but all the same it's made a huge difference to my purse. Spent some of my savings on little treats for myself but next month I am taking my hubby away for a couple of nights for our wedding anniversary, something I couldn't have afforded if I'd carried on smoking,
