Day 11 and that nicotine demon is still in my head I will defeat him, I no longer need him!!
Nicotine demon: Day 11 and that nicotine... - No Smoking Day
Nicotine demon
That's the spirit crazytracey!! Well done on getting to day 11 and welcome to this forum. Give him a good kicking!
We will try to help in any way we can. Keep it going for just a little while longer and it should get a lot easier.
Welcome crazytracey. Great attitude and brilliant that you have got to day 11. Have you gone cold turkey or are you using NRT? Lots of people on here with lots of experience to help you. Post as often as you like
Huge welcome crazytracey (love your user name - it may become very apt at some stage during your quit ).
Day 11, almost 2 weeks! That is some achievement, well done! You appear to have a great attitude which will stand to you. Read up as much as possible on quitting and the effects it has on our minds and bodies. Lots of water, avoid caffeine and sugary foods, bit of exercise daily and keep busy.
Wishing you success and look forward to reading your progress. Your over 1 week badge is on its way!
Great job yes it does get easier you can do this
Hi crazytracey and welcome. Nicodemon is such a sneaky fellow he hates to think we can live without him and tries all sorts of dirty tricks to keep us addicted. Just keep kicking him out eventually he gets weak and goes, well done on defeating him for 11 days keep fighting.
Welcome crazytracey joining this forum will be one of your best decisions apart from quitting smoking. That nicotine demon takes a bit to get rid of as once you get him out of your body he moves on to your mind. He loves to play mind games with you. So be prepared for him to come and go over the next few months. In saying that it does get a lot easier as the days and weeks go by. Stay strong
Cheers,
Congratulations on 11 days quit and welcome to the NSD community.
Welcome crazytracey . Love the name
Well done on your eleven days that is one hell of an achievement
Hey crazytracey , how is Day 12 going for you?
You have the right attitude Tracey. Generally it starts getting better around 2-3 weeks.
