Not a bad today, not too good either - somewhere in between.

It probably wasn't helped by the fact that my youngest daughter thought it would be fun to dress up at 1am, decorate the bathroom with toothpaste at 2am and go downstairs to watch TV at 3am 😱😱😱 So i got up in a bit of a grump, and immediately thought about smoking 😑

I spent the whole day down the garden today, fighting the "you can't keep this up for ever", and the "just one won't hurt - it'll make you feel better" attacks of evil Nico.

In the end, I though if I want to end up stinking of smoke then I'd best have a good bonfire, which satisfied my inner pyromaniac very much πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

The cravings were nasty, but nowhere near as powerful as the first few days. They go pretty quickly, and the key is to get yourself thinking about something else & keep yourself busy.

Had a nice bottle of cider after working....my first alcohol since quitting. I was expecting a trigger, which thankfully didn't come

Im going to start running again next week, which I haven't done in quite a long time. Back then I was up to 10K......couch to 5K here we come! It will be lovely inhaling all of this oxygen instead of stinky fags.

  • Ah kids ... gotta love them eh ... well, your not allowed to throttle them are you! Well done for getting through that and the first drink. Don't get carried away with the alcohol though - too many quits get lost to being drunk and not thinking straight.
