Had an awesome day today. I took my 22 year old daughter and a girlfriend out for my 5 week mark. We had pedicures, massages a lovely lunch and topped off with yummy Galeto. Here's to kicking this demon out of my life ππ»π€π

What a fantastic post - so positive! Seems that you have come such a long way from all of the stress around ANZAC day. Great to reward yourself for achieving so much. It often occurs to me that others who are not on this journey have no idea just what a battle it can be. You are doing fantastically well
Thank you FordyP Β you are exactly right, family, friends do not realise what we go through and sometimes that seems enough to say well f#%^k you. You people have no idea what I go through so back away grrr
Trem Β I certainly thing it contributes to our grumpiness Glad that you are now through the worst of it. Keep strong though. We all know how easy it is to fall off this horseΒ - you have to grip it hard and keep wrestling it. I know from past quit attempts that it is when I think that I have it beaten that I am at my most vulnerable - you are doing really well though
Oh FordyP Β i know myself that it is still so easy to say hey give me a drag, just 1. It only takes that 1 drag and I'm a full time smoker again. This time I'm keeping both eyes on the prize. The odd prayer here and there can't hurt either lol. Thanks for all your help ππ»π€π
Ooh I love rewards - best part of quitting lol! Β Congrats on 5 weeks! Β Awesome job.
Wonderful news, you deserve that
Trem Β , Ah Jenny, what a great post to read, delighted for you as you have a rough start, continue to embrace your quit but keeping the guard up at all times....and off course continue to be kind to yourself with those treats
