I have finally reached the point cigarettes smell disgusting. My brother and his Mrs came to stay at the weekend and they smoke and they stink. I love them, but they stink and for that reason I was glad when they left.
It's such a great moment and a turning point as I've noticed now I'm not thinking about 'ohh I fancy a fag' I don't fancy one. They stink and the thought of smoking makes me feel ill.
Feeling very chuffed 😄

Hey Levs, well done, it is a great feeling alright when we realise, smoking is so disgusting, ah that smell of other smokers, can't believe I smelled too like that, all in the past now!
Can you let me know your quit date for your milestone badge when you get a chance...
Levs, I agree - not having to put up with the smell is a massive upside to giving up. My kids used to continuously tell me that I stank if I came in after I had been smoking.
Nozmo I used to use gum to try and hide the smell as well - certain it never worked

Definitely doesn't Fordy, every day at work, my work colleagues who smoke and come back in, try to disguise the smell with gum, think it actually makes it worse!
I was quit for 4 years and then started again just over a year back. Don't ever take your quit for granted. I've been luckily in that because I've done it before, and it was really hard the first time, it's been quite plain sailing this last couple of months but I've missed it. Each day I'd fancy one. Not crave, just fancy one but since the weekend that's gone for which I am grateful.
Thanks. It was three months on Sunday just past though. 22nd was my quit date 😄

Sorry Levs have you down as today with counting each month at 31 days, will amend now to 92 days - 3 months - so was officially yesterday at 3 months! Well done again!
