STRESSED. : Hi everyone, I am back from my... - No Smoking Day
STRESSED.
Jaffa....Good for you "surviving" your holiday smoke free...Crazy to watch smokers hey...And to think that we was in the same situation not so long ago...amazing...
Yes..surely there is a difference between headaches and migraine...But stress can cause that...
The cough is very normal and your body is healing itself and that is the way to get rid of the phlegm and slime in the lungs...Stay strong !!
Hay just wanted to pop my head in, to say, hi and what a fantastic job your doing.
Brilliant
I was puzzled by the cough thing at around six weeks. Apparently it's your lungs cleaning themselves of all the rubbish.
Very well done...holidays are a very tempting time!
Hey Jaffajuice, good to read an update from you.
You are almost 50 days smoke free (??), that is a huge achievement, well done you!
Don't worry too much about the weight gain, that can be addressed at a later stage when you are more comfortable in your quit and also it is perfectly normal to gain some weight when we quit.
The migraines that you are experiencing may be caused by surgary foods and caffeine, if you are taking these, perhaps, cut them out and see if that relieves the migraines.
Drink plenty of water and maybe get a water bottle juicer with some of your favorite fruit.
With regards the cough, take it as a good sign that your lungs are clearing, it is common symptom when people quit. Try to vapourize with vicks or eucalyptus to help lift the mucus etc...
Well done again Jaffa!
