We'll order then, we don't want a cake poisoning party lol

Another day passed, as soon as I walked into my house, first instinct is to go out to the back garden for a ciggy. Well that didn't happen! Instead, went through the letters that arrived while I was away, loads of letters from the hospital with the results of my ct's... Well none was a surprise because I've been in contact with the consultant nearly every day. I do not have cancer and that had hunted me for the last 30 days. I did have a recurring bacterial infection on my lungs and I will need to be medicated and followed very closely. I got a chest infection last January, it was pretty bad to the point that I stopped smoking. It took ages for me to be able to breathe again, as soon as I was able to breathe I went back on the cigarettes, from then on, I've been always sick...nearly every day something different, I am very happy that is not the big c, but I'm hoping I will be able to stay away from the fags forever

Ah mmaya, I am so delighted for you that you didn't get that news that has been over your head for the last 30 days, as you said in a post to me a while ago, this was the scare you needed to quit for good, for your kids, for yourself, you will get there and live your life as a non-smoker, I am sure of it...xxx

Great news Mmaya and a huge relief for you I'm sure. Time to say goodbye to smoking for good - you can do it.:)

You can say that again! I'm still very sick and nowhere in a position to celebrate anything. I've done 3 types of antibiotics over the last 3 weeks, I'm going to have bloods done Wednesday to check the progress. My lungs are not good. How are you managing? One more week buddy...Stay strong!

I'm plodding on and doing okay Mmaya, the weeks are starting to mount up. I must keep going.

I'm sure they'll be able to find the right medication for you Mmaya and then hopefully it will be plain sailing. All these different antibiotics that they've been giving you can't be doing you any good so hoping this will change when they start getting you sorted. I'm sure things will get better for you now.

Hope you enjoyed your week away - there's no place like home though, at least that's what they say;).
