So I fell off the wagon spectacularly during my New Years quit. Stupid alcohol inspired choices. 'Nuff said.
On day 11 of yet another quit and so far, not too bad. Decided that I needed help this time so I went to the quacks and booked a session at the smoking clinic. Best decision yet. The smoking lady is absolutely wonderful, she is really friendly and so so helpful. She gave me some patches which seem to be doing the trick. I've just been for a follow up apt today and all is good carbon monoxide is down from 20 to 3, so that's good. Anyway, thought I would leave it until my quit was under way before posting, so here I am.
I must apologise to my fellow New Years quitters, I failed, and I couldnt face admitting it to you all.
Hope everyone is doing well with their quits and keep on keeping on.
Cheers

Hi Jim, good to see you back, you needn't worry about having to face people we have all been there and if it was that easy everyone would quit first time, I'm on day 11 too, absolutely determined no matter what to stick it out, we will have to look out for each other fairplay for trying again x
Day 11. Wow! That's great. And you won't be the first or last of us that has failed quits under their belt. I think I am on my 234rd quit right now, but you know what they say? 234rd time lucky, right? Let's hope that this is the one for both of us
Jim, don't despair, I've tried and failed to quit about twice a week for the last two years (almost no exaggeration). I'm a couple of days behind you, but we can do this thing!
Steve, that's SO cool, I'm looking forward to my first million in two days time
