Thank you so much for the encouragement Tracey.....have to say my emotions are all over the place, a few nice words and I'm sobbing like a baby but no one died from sobbing
Thank you so much for the kind words Tracey - have to admit that my emotions are all over the place so I am now sobbing most inappropriately.......that I can handle tho
Hi Mina. Good to hear from you again. The statistics are an amazing encouragement as the first weeks draws to a close - can you imagine the smell from 115 stale cigarette ends??? Do you have an app that keeps you up to date with these things? I have just tended to search the internet to find out the health benefits of each day (according to Victoria university in Australia, day four was particularly good as antioxidants were increasing to help fight off bugs - helpful at this time of year). As we approach the week, however, it tends all to get a bit 'lumped' together and I could do with an additional source of motivation (such as time added to my life) or money saved. I am saving up for a new pair of boots in the sale as my 'stopped smoking' treat, so would be nice to know when I was getting close.
It is fantastic to hear other people's experiences and your attitude is so positive, it is wonderfully infectious!
Keep up with the updates and, tomorrow, let's raise a glass to we happy band of January 2015 quitters.
Well done Mina, I like this jelly baby therapy idea! Also if you are in reading some time look me up, I could valet your car for you, bit of a hobby for me
Keep going Mina, sounds like youre keeping really strong. are the cravings easing a bit?
@kentquitter I use an app called myquittime. it gives you all of those data if you type in yiur quit date etc, though my phone is Windows Live so I don't know if you can get it on android/iphone
