Hello everyone. My name is Jay and I've been smoking since I was 21 (24 now). I've tried to quit a few times before, with my longest quit lasting about 2 weeks. I was at a point where I was smoking a pack a day, and to be honest I'm sick of it. Sick of the smokers cough in the mornings, sick of feeling out of breath when exercising, and sick of planning my days around a dang stick.
I just got a new job last week as an Electricians Apprentice, and the work environment I'm in is fantastic. No smokers, my boss does not smoke, and I'm keeping very busy. I do not smoke at work and I feel like this new environment is the perfect place for me to quit. Its going to be the hardest on me when I get home at night, but I'm confident!
I look forward to getting advice from everyone here and getting those extra words of wisdom and motivation when I need it!
Its time to take my life and health back! Wish me luck
