Morning. It's day 4 in the non-smoking house and it would appear the cravings have started in Ernest. I woke up with one. They are nothing I can't handle though. At worst I'll have to use that inhalator, which does actually knock individual cravings on the head.
Hope you're all doing well. ðŸ‘

Hope those cravings aren't too bad, but you seem to have the perfect mindset to deal with them. Recognise them for what they are and don't give in. There are a good few of us on Day 4 today, and it is a tough time, the initial sprint is coming to an end and the long distance race is just starting. We will all do this!
Vicki, you're doing so well and you'll soon be through the worst of it now. Just dig in deep and in the wise words of our Tracey, keep on putting one foot in front of the other and before you know it the days will have become weeks and then months.
May you, Jim, Mina, Kentquitter (hope you're still out there Kent?) and any other Day Fourers have a laid back and relatively crave-free Sunday.
Great stuff Vicky. I read something on the forum a while back which said something along the lines of "there is no crave you can't beat" which really helped me. Get through them one at a time and the hours and days will soon add up.
Hope you have a good Day 4.
still here and still holding strong. Woke up feeling full of energy and without the usual cough - makes it all worth while.
Vicki - know what you mean about the wake up craving. My first thought yesterday was about a cigarette but I ignored it and had a blackcurrant/liquorice sweet instead (a childhood favourite which I am using as replacement therapy!). If it helps, today's first thought was for a cup of tea!! Keep going, you will get through.
Hi there, I am an Newbee to this board, had my last cig around 12am Saturday night. Stopped around 10 years ago for 6 months, but learned my lesson!! Feeling bit flat and grieving at moment. Found a similar board to this excellent support last time!!
Welcome to the party Sandra! Glad to hear that you are doing so well. This is definitely the place for excellent support from your fellow January 2015 quitters and from those more experienced and wise in the ways of quitting. Pop in any time you're passing and keep us updated with your progress.
Hi Sandra and welcome to the forum. So pleased to see another January quitter join. Very well done so far and look forward to hearing how you are getting on.
