Bring on Day 3!: Will be done at 12.45pm... - No Smoking Day
Bring on Day 3!
Really? Great!
'Tis true TT, after day 3 it does get more bearable. I can go out on the lash and don't even yearn for a smoke. How are the Champix dreams going?
Well done TT
Most of us agree that it does start to get easier after Day Three is done & dusted. Almost half way through Week One now (it's lovely when you can start to count in weeks :D)
Hang on in there and keep us posted on how you're doing.
Glad to hear that its a less of an uphill struggle after day 3.
Do you know what, I cannot believe the amount of support you guys give! Thank you! I wish I had know about you years ago!
I think the relative ease that I'm experiencing right now has to be the Champix and you guys, coz the actual cravings are basically non-existent. Tho the habitual element does still trigger, but touch wood, they are still relatively easy to overcome.
I had my first coffee this morning since quitting on Tuesday and I think I powered through on the excitement of not smoking alone. Also going to a xmas party tonight, getting p****d and staying focused is bound to be a challenge, but I'm determined to stay a non-smoker.
Right now I'm on a high so its a great feeling. The biggest tests are yet to come however. And I'm aware and know these all too well. It's when you have had a tough phone call, argument and so on - that's when I'm gong to be really tested. And thats when I'll be here posting like crazy I reckon ;).
Thank You. I feel like a kid again being pat on the back for my little achievements.
Good news is Day 3 is now complete and under my belt!
WOW this is indeed great progress, and I do hope you are over the worst, please post and read often, doing a grand job, just keep going ðŸ‘
On my way home p****d and didn't touch a cig! Woohooo!
Nice one TT
Always good to get the first boozy night out of the way. It'll be so much easier next time.
Hiope the hangover has worn off by now?
Yep. In fact was so boozy, my post was in the wrong section, I had graduated into the more grown up area by then
No real hangover, thankfully I have never really suffered from them, just varying degrees of sluggishness the next day depending on the quantity of alcohol consumed.
