Just keep plugging away and soon you'll be out the other side of this. A few weeks of relative pain is worth it for all the good things that follow I promise...

I would second the suggestion to try Nytol (or the Boots or Tesco equivalent). I found it worked for me and sometimes just knowing you have something to hand can have a placebo effect.

Oh Pseudo, poor you. I felt like that with the sleep deprivation, as I'm sure loads others on here have, it will get better, just try to keep looking at the positives of your quit - there are lots

so i got into a smokers car for the first time since my quit, oh boy !!

the damn thing stank like hell !.....and then stink turned into nostalgia, and i wanted to smoke sooo damned bad....

stepped out, fresh air ? or just absence of smoke stink ? reminded me of one of the many reasons i quit....

3 other ppl with me in the car were smokers, smoking both....to and back, it was irritating to be honest, the smell, the smoke...the way, open windows, the noise outside and again the smoke and the smell...

I know what you mean psuedo, I can't believe that my non smoking friends were so tolerant of me. Why did somebody not tell me? Not even to mention my OH, mind you he did tell me:D:D

Eeeh gads Pseudo! In a car with THREE smokers so early in your quit? I can hardly imagine how awful that must've been. Nostalgia is a powerful emotion.....and I'm ****-a-hoop that you saw it for what it was.

You can tick another FIRST off your list.....and a fairly bloomin' awful one at that. Well done.

but to be honest it wasn't really that bad as i thought about it later....

it could have been much worse, i could have succumbed...

but after a brief nostalgic period, im just glad i was disgusted by the smell and the 'hassle' i saw the others go through...

i wasnt or have never really been worried about peer pressure or fitting in or getting swayed by a crowd, its my own weakness, affinity for pleasure which I know has led me astray.......smoking so far is one habit im trying to fix

and you guys have been immense help.

Pseudo, all power to you mate. I'm pretty certain I couldn't have held out if confronted by a car-full of smokers at that stage in my quit. I hold you in total awe for getting through that unscathed.
