Well that will do it....

I wasn't sure where to post this, but thought here was as good as any.

So I have been absent for the past few weeks. Things have not gone well.

In order of horridness:

Relationship - collapse

House - lost

Job - lost

Moved back down south - achieved

So I guess it goes without saying the quit is dead and buried. Just couldn't not smoke. I will be back at some point, just not sure when.

Take care all

Jim

Jim really sorry to hear life has been so sad for you. I hope that the move brings you better days ahead.

You will quit again when you are ready. Until then don't be a stranger :)

Thanks Karri, got to move onwards and upwards, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and all that!

I understand where you're coming from JimBlack...........when life bombards you with so much all at once (and it sure can do that) it can be really difficult to know how to cope with it all, so please don't be mad with yourself for losing your quit. Take a deep breath, start getting a new life up together for yourself and come back to your quit when you are feeling stronger.

Take care. :)

Cheers Val

It all sort of got a bit too much to handle. I should have been stronger and stayed quit, but hey what can you do. Thank you for your kind words.

Very sorry to hear that Jim

Sounds absolutely awful

And under siege from so many bad events nobody would expect a quit to survive so just come back when you feel ready to try again ;)

Cheers Max

All came as a bit of a shock to be honest. Amazing what can happen in 2 weeks. I will get back on it, and sooner rather than later.

How life can pick its timing to really kick you when you're well and truly down. Hope you're doing ok and starting to pick up the pieces.

See you back here when you're ready.:D

Sorry Jim,

Take heart I went through the same sort of thing last year. Take your time and re-group. When you are ready we'll be here. Do not beat yourself up too much. Sometimes things can be overwhelming.

Take care of yourself in the meantime ;)

It's so horrid, all comes at once, but hope you can find some kind of resolve, and wish you well.

Look forward to seeing you back as and when your ready:o

You poor man. :( Referee. I know life ain't fair but there are limits.

All I can say is that things have a way of working themselves out in a manner we don't always expect and that there may come a time (I hope sooner than later) when you will look back on the last few weeks and see a different pattern to everything- perhaps even some disguised blessings.

In the meantime, you just do whatever you need to do and rest assured that we'll be here waiting when you decide the time is right to start again.

All the best mate :)

Whenever you're ready, you know where we are :)

One thing to hold close is that this time life conspired against you, but you made it long enough to know that, with a fair wind, the quit is yours.

In your own time Jim - wishing you all the best, and hoping to see you again soon
