That is fantastic, 5 years quit and you still thought to come on here and share it with us. Thanks Oh, and well done you!
Congratulations, well done
:):) Big mahoosive congratulations to you .
Brilliant,and thanks for posting
Congratulations CJM 3 years is amazing
Thanks for all the lovely comments.
The possibility that my quit may encourage or inspire others is a great feeling.
And Caro, my quit buddy, 3 years is fantastic! So good to see you still going strong. Just stay lagging behind by exactly the same distance and you'll be doing fine.
I know that I won't smoke again - that's not something I felt confident of saying 5 years ago - but I know it's true now.
This forum, and the support I gained from it, was so important. I know it will continue to aid those struggling with, and succeeding in overcoming, the grip of nicotine addiction.
Stay strong.
Thanks Donna.
I spent the first 18 months "giving up" smoking then I suddenly decided instead of fluffing around "giving up" I would actually "stop" - big difference between giving up and stopping - and once I'd made that decision I started to see smoking for what it really is.
I know everyone says this but if I can do it then I truly believe with a bit of determination and the right attitude then anyone can do it
Thanks for all the lovely comments.

Both brilliant posts, I am back to day 1 tomorrow after a very brief stint over to the dark side after an 11 week quit, reading things like this make me feel positive again xx
