Day 47 3 lots of good news!

Well it's day 47 and my 3 bits of good news are:

1/ my daughter is back!

2/ checked email this morning and I have another interview for the new Southmead hospital opening in Bristol!

3/ I am still smoke free! longest quit is 51 days and despite a few anxiety attacks this week I am still winning!

All is looking good here mucho love x

Indeed, its been a tough few days with the anxiety but im battling through it and these good things have definitely helped

Your attitude over the last 47 days hasn't changed one jot. You are in winning mode and methodically tackling your quit. Keep to the plan and you will coast into that penthouse.

Positive post Donna, so pleased for you after your earlier struggles.Daughter back as well so all going great. Just keep on with your successes. Whatever your coping mechanisms they are working for you

Somethings definitely clicked this time... stubborness is prevailing I think thats my coping mechanism, smoking really isnt an option anymore.. I might want one now and again but I cant, cos I dont smoke and thats that!

I am a long time quit but lurk around the site as my comfort blanket!! I am exactly the same as you, STUBBORN. I certainly don't crave a cigarette any more but somehow still have "fond memories" of smoking...but as you say smoking is not an option and you are as aware as I am of all the reasons why. Think I'll always be an ex smoker as opposed to a non smoker and somehow reading posts like yours helps me to remain vigilant. Stay stubborn!!

Great Donna, you can do it. It is weird because I decided that I will celebrate my new status of a non smoker on day 51 at school with a cake. 51 days for 51 years old.

I live also with panic attack, so I feel for you: anxiety or panic attack are awful.

I told someone at school basically what you said in the quote: something clicked for me.

Regarding the job, if they called you its because your good. They don't have time to waste with no good. So go there hon, with your head up, and your mind in a great spirit.

Hey Skidds, my interview is 24th Feb, fingers crossed but as you know I was upset about my daughter so her asking to come home is the best news of all really xx
