Hi Mags
Well done on making the first week. Make sure you use this site, it can be so useful to be able to share the highs and lows of your quit with others. It is testament to the quitters on here that all you have to do is shout for help and they will try to help you out.
Good luck and stick with it.
Jim
:)Thanks for the welcome and kind words. Wasn't sure anyone would answer me so thanks once again. Does anyone else have sleep problems since quitting I sleep for a couple of hours then awake the rest of the night. Anyone have any tips to help.

Hi Magsff. Another Scottish forum member
Sleeping problems are pretty common and I regularly suffer from insomnia. I'm afraid I haven't managed to overcome it but I find not getting stressed and accepting it as a temp problem really does help
Hi Magsff,
Nothing to add really other than to say hello & good to meet you
You'll get heaps of advice and support here and you've definitely come to the right place.
Insomnia is unfortunately a common side-effect of quitting. Many of us have been through it (or are going through it). I found my sleep pattern returned to normal after around 3 weeks so hopefully it will be the same for you.
Anyway- well done on your quit so far
Hang on in there. I hope this one will be the Final Quit for you.
Day 6 is HUGE. You have built such a large foundation to your quit that there is no reason for you to stop now. You can do it!
This forum is a huge help in quitting smoking. All the positive stories and positive feed back about peoples health is such an inspiration to keep on going. I am glad you found us because from this moment on we ALL are in your corner.

My sleep pattern has been pretty grim since I gave up - even when I go to bed early I still seem to have a bad night sleep. I take a supermarket brand of nytol which helps although I understand that it isn't everyone's cup of tea. Other than that I think accepting that the first few weeks might be tiring! Well done on getting this far, fantastic.
Day 6 is brilliant - you've done the really hard part and it can only get easier and easier
