Hi Donna,
Many congratulations on reaching Week 3
I know you're feeling a bit down and flat today, but the truth is that you have everything to celebrate (and congratulate yourself with). Remember your motto (the bit about not having a rainbow without some rain).
I think some 'me time' is called for. I know it ain't pay-day yet but perhaps you could stretch to a face pack and a home manicure?
Sounds like the you've hit the second of the three, week three! Now is the time to think about the benefits you've started noticing, warmer hands and feet, easier breathing, vastly improved sense of taste and smell, and, the biggie - if you're worrying about payday now, think how much more you'd be worrying if you were still wasting all your spare cash on deathsticks! Once this week is over and done with you will be in new territory - Months, not weeks - raise your expectations and the enthusiasm will be renewed, I still get a thrill when I remember to click my ticker and realise just how many days I have said "I'm not going to smoke today!"

Yep Jen, defo hit the dreaded week 3.. :/ its such a weird feeling tho as I am not craving fags, I just feel empty sure it will pass soon enough tho, by the way I need to get me one of them there tickers
xx
Hi Donna.
Are the cravings your getting as bad as in week 1.
Very well done on 3 weeks
Hi Beer,
No definitely not as bad... its not cravings its just feeling a bit low, I dont want a fag but I think my moods ar telling me otherwise.. how are you getting on? You got to persevere you will feel really good in a few weeks x
Im feeling good today but I have to say it's been a mad 10 day's:rolleyes:
1day good, 1 day bad, 1 day indifferent, my hormones all over the place.
I feel sorry for you ladies who like my wife suffer this quite often.
Donna.....please push those thoughts away.Stop and think how far you have come and that you don't want to go back to smoking. One cig and you will. When we feel down we think our little friend will pick us up and make us feel better, but it doesn't,it will only make you feel worse...believe me Iv been there time after time. The novelty starts to wear. But think of your recovery as ongoing.
Tomorrow you will feel different and proud that you got through another blip.
3wks is amazing
