Feeling fine dispite all the annoying things my body is going through. But i am getting very twitchy... I think people think im on drugs or something however im in sight of the 72 hour mark which is my first major goal so none of that matters. All that matters is the next 16 hours
P.s.
Something which suprised me, as of today i have avoided having 50 smokes... Tiny compared to most people here but its a victory for me and one i never thought i would see

Being a bit twitchy is normal for lots of us early on in a quit it will pass and nearly at your first goal as well
50 fags avoided is good as well and remember that no matter what every one you don't smoke is a victory for you as is every day you add to your quit they all count towards you winning the war for freedom

Morning Karas
Day Three yayyyyyy freedom in around 12 hours all that Nicotine out of your body, relly pleased you got here now you can really start to feel the benefit 50 smokes less is the same as 5 thousand as the keyword is less, dead pleased for you Karas
Not long till your 72 hours are up, then it's the mental craves to deal with- and if you feel good about stopping they're not so bad at all! I am still getting the odd one (funny night last night, most craves I've had for ages!), but they really are no big deal. Just stay strong, stay focused, and reward yourself for doing so well!
Thanks people... I think the worst is behind me now. Havent been craving much today well not since early this morning. I even forgot i was quiting for a an hour or 2 as i just wasnt craving at all, just forgot about smoking... I guess that is the goal. First time that has happened.

well done karas - 50 cigges not smoked is the first of many milestones for you i recon.
youve got the right game plan at the moment, and your right, the next 16 hours is the only thing that matters.
Just stick with that mindset that this is the most important thing you will ever do in your life, and that you will do what ever it takes to see it through.
I dont think I wud be able to stop if another person in house smoked. 2 of the times I started again was wen i lived or dated with a smoker.... am single now and have been for years but ok with that.. so no temptaion keep going
