hmmm day 3 on champix should it be this easy?

currently on champix quit day was monday so third day of no cigs for me. HMMMM have to say been pretty easy any views on this ? is it me? will it get tougher. Still get some cravings but are usually fleeting.

Any advice / info gratefuly received

The worst of it should be day 3 the 72 hour line.

I found that bit easy too, days 6 & 7 were my difficult days, I'm on Zyban BTW

cheers for that, i do still get cravings but nothing major. Just hoping the champix side effects stay managable as they are at mo. Oh well, day 4 tommorrow i guess

I don't want to burst anyones bubble, and you are so doing great (lord I sound American)!!! but you will have down days, so try and be prepared!!! You can do it, and I know that you will do it!!!

I am talking as someone who has been taking champix - yes it is great! yes, It has helped me,and apart from the dreadfull side effects I have had, I would definately try it again!

When I get to the other side, I don't intend being the only one there -it will be party time - and I want you there!!!

Tis true, there may be bad days. I quit using champix 12 days ago - up to day 7 was a doddle, day 7 sucked, and yesterday sucked *and* blew. I came very close to stopping at the shop on the way home from work. I had the "Just buy a pack of 10" voice niggling at me - but that was a reaction to a really rubbish day at work. I didn't do it, but I have more rubbish waiting for me today so I'm going to have to brace myself against the urge and whack the little voice that's saying "Just one won't hurt" very hard.....:mad:

Hi Hope You Ok Well Day 3 Come And Went:dno Problems Except I Am Having Trouble Sleeping It Must Be These Tablets Dont Normally Have Problems Getting To Sleep. My Sister Came To My House Yesterday And Had Half A Ciggie On Her,so She Lit Up And The Smell Urghhh!:(then After A While She Wanted Another But Having No More On Her She Got The Remaining Butt Out Of The Ashtray And Smoked It Right To The End, How Many Times Have I Done That Or Gone Through The Rubbish Bin To Find Butts As I Had Run Out,nope Not For Me Anymore,this Is Day 4 Today And I Cant Wait Til Next Friday When I Go And See My Nurse Who Put Me On Champix And Proudly Tell Her That I Havent Smoked :):)

I too have had a little bother getting to sleep -no where near as bad as when I was on patches though. I'm into my 11th week of the champix and have found if I take the 2nd dose around 4,30 pm I wake up less during the night. Congrats on making it to day4 kayla. Stay strong!!
