Day 5

Morning guys

Day 5 is here and all is good. Been suffering a bit from the wobbly head withdrawal effects, but lungs feel so much better already. For me that is the key, focus on the positive and ignore the negative. The bad physical/mental feelings are only temporary and as nothing compared to the harm smoking would be doing.

I will be getting through day 5 with caffeine, mini eggs and DIY :)

Good luck to all & keep on quitting!

    That's a fab positive message there :D

You're doing sooo well, keep going!!

  • I love posts like yours Jim. You know what you want and you are going to get it. It's absolutely brilliant and such an inspiration to all of us, newbies and old uns alike. And not just from a quitting point of view.

I guess we can do anything we put our minds to if we have the right attitude.

By the way, I've loads of DIY that needs doing too, purely to help you out you understand :D

  • Thank you all for your kind words :)

To be honest you lot are helping me massively. I know a lot of smokers and none of them are going to quit, so I dont have anyone at hand to share this with. Finding kindred spirits is great for morale and helps me keep focused.

Having a DIY project is great for keeping my mind off the fags, and I actually feel inclined to do it now I'm not so out of breath all the time. So for purely medicinal purposes I could come and put some shelves up.... ;)

    Cheers

    Jim
