I'm yet to have a boozy night out without the fags.

I went out last night with hubby and he kept going out for a fag and leaving me alone in the restaurant - how anti-social!!! Plus he ponged really bad when he came back in - made me feel great that i wasnt doing the same.

Hope the headache goes soon!

Not going to do my reputation as Wequit's resident boozer any good here but if you don't already, make sure you drink plenty of water before you go to bed. Most of the hangover is caused by dehydration so if you do that, you shouldn't have too much of one

Have found that although I drink more since quitting, I've had fewer hangovers 'cos smoking also dehydrates you!!

Gem is right, I used to be quite sick after a few too many whilst smoking, how much of that was down to coughing my head off after smoking 20 fags in a couple of hours I'm not sure. I do still get a thick head (and the sudden OMG, I shouldn't have done/said that) but I feel better than I used to after a skin full

That sounds great, that is a great hurdle! I have been out a few times and I have had a few drinks at home, all fine, but not been out without oh, that will b a test! I also find I drink more as I don't know what to do with my hands:confused:,oh well.....
