So it is day 8 on the Chantix and I have decided to stick with my decision to give em up totally from here on out. Had my last ciggie yesterday afternoon. Not feeling too bad, I guess a tad irritated but committed to this one all the way.
This makes me officially on day 1.

May your Day 1 be as crave-free and happy as it possibly can be. You're on the way to your forever quit now and I can already see the distant lights of the penthouse.
Ok so here is my brief history here. I originally quit last 1/1/13 and I believe it was 28 days. From there I had 4 or 5 more unsuccessful attempts up through June at which time I decided to shelve the whole thing until I was really ready to do this.
That's why I am back. Went to my doc last week, got the Champix and here I am. I will say though that I am in a completely different space than I was last year.
Strangely not stressed or worried, I have already made the decision that I am now a non smoker so therefore there is no longer any decision to be made. Just a new lifestyle to embrace.
I also gave up all alcohol this past January. Same method going brilliantly. All decisions are yours to make. So you have to choose what you will and won't do, follow?
