Hi Carol
Thanks and i certainly am saving the money, even more so when OH gives up, to think that we have gone without for so long to feed this habit... makes you wonder! Well it does now anyways!!!!
Hey hoe the way to go
Hey that's fantastic for you I'm still early days but my gollie gosh this forum just puts all our fears into prospective keep going nothing to fear
Thanks Tracey and mistados, I certainly had odd days where it did get to me, and poor hubby felt the wrath of Spooks... this forum i have to agree has been a massive help, alot of understanding folk on here and loads of info to trawl through!!

Wow! The first week done and dusted!...How good is that. The first weeks are the hardest so if you can get through them you have a very good chance of success. Well done so far and keep it going you have so much to look forward to ie. more money, better health, nicer smelling clothes and hair to name a few.
Thanks mistados i guess its quite a big change for a body.... hubby is on his way to docs tonight as its his turn finally to go grab some champix and quit the dirty fags... ( that reminds me.... coffee i used to love it!! it now tastes just like dirty fags... like the bottom of an ashtray  bleurrggghhh!!!!!) so i will watch his mood change with interest as he is a chilled person to say the least! Where i am the hothead of the family!!
Thank you Max414 i'm extremely proud to have got this far, and knocking back the days smoke free... loving it and to be honest the last quits i just knew i wouldn't, the thought of driving or walking or going out without a cigarette near enough broke me out in a sweat!
Hi HAZE56 and thanks for your comment it is great to be able to look at the different things that quitting can give you back, i was talking about it the other day to my mum, that just how low a smoker will go to get that fix, me scratching the pennies together for a pouch of tobacco at times (quite possibly me and OH spending far more than we should have ever been on them) and her scratching around the ashtray for a large butt to smoke... shocking when you look back on it...
Thats it now my side of the family are smoke free, and that is something to be proud of.... now got to set the quit seed on OH side of the family, good luck to all
