day 5!!! yay!!!

woooooooooooooooo!:D I made it to day 5!! after yesterday...the day from hell..a day i would normally buckle under..I feel so much more confident now. I feel like i can take the world on!

feeling really good today ..insomnia is still ruining my face and im not nearly getting enough beauty sleep..but!...with my asthma..i will occasionally wake up with a tight chest..I'm used to this and i woke up today with a tight chest but it's not the same..i normally wheeze and really struggle. the tight feeling is there.but without the wheezing and major pain and coughing ..so all in all ..feeling good today!..now Im going back to sleep for a couple more hours! ha!

just wanted to say thank you to you guys, it's really helped me in these first few days having the support, i know i can do this with you all here :)

  • Well done for getting through yesterday Lorna, that is a major achievement, terrrific.

I'm delighted your asthma is already improved now that you've quit. That's inspiring, and a great reason to persevere with your quit - as I expect you understand far better than me.

  • Congratulations Lorna, you're doing FAB! My asthma improved massively when I quit. I used to get through inhalers like there was no tomorrow and frequently wake in the night tight chested and coughing - that never happens now, ever, and an inhaler lasts me ages. It's all sooooooooo worth it. Keep going!
