Like it says the cravings are still there but more manageable if that makes sense. I am dreading work tonight, I work in a pub and I always look forward to my cig breaks so I now realise as an addict I have to change my behaviour. I will not be going into the smoking shelter at all...I will be going straight home at the end of my shift to avoid any temptation...Day 6 is looming and that magical 1st week....my nose is so tender I can almost smell it...
Day 5...still craving but light at the end ... - No Smoking Day
Day 5...still craving but light at the end of the tunnel..
Keep going chuck, you can do this! Anyone who can do 5 days smokefree can do one more night!
Please let us all know how you get on as soon as you get home, I for one wants to know
Stay strong

Be strong!!
Cravings I know about them...get a lozenge...break it in 1/2.
Place under tongue...it takes the edge off...it worked for me.
This is a challenge...I know...be strong...I was where you are...
That light is real at the end of the tunnel...today is my 1 yr Anniv!
I now live in the Penthouse....you will be my roomie in less than a yr!
Its all good! Take care!
thanks for the tips but this voyage is definately about Cold Turkey, my body should be free of nicotine now. Last night was a struggle but I am overjoyed with the fact that I didnt smoke, there was a funeral wake last night at the pub and as a DJ I had to fend off some very difficult drunk grieving customers, that would have had me reaching for my crutch but no I remained strong, breathed away the cravings and came home straight after my shift...Its now day 6 wahay..
Awesome well done! The more hurdles you get through the more you know you can do this! I quit CT too and you do have the craves longer at the beginning, but then you deal with the nicotine withdrawal sooner rather than later - bit like ripping off a sticking plaster, which is the only way for me but is not for everyone and everyone's quit is different! Now I'm at 10 weeks and I don't have craves as such, just the odd fleeting thought of cigs which easily passes. Stay strong you're doing really well
